MACUMA is excited to announce, NCUA Executive Director Mark Treichel will be the featured speaker for February’s “Dinner and Discussion” meeting. NCUA has cited BSA, Consumer Financial Protection, Cybersecurity and Credit & Liquidity Risk as their top priorities for the year ahead. Get Mark’s unique inside perspective on these important issues as we move deeper into 2020.

Mark A. Treichel is the Executive Director of the NCUA. As Executive Director, he is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the federal agency that charters and supervises the nation’s federal credit unions and insures the vast majority of credit union member deposits.

Prior to being named NCUA’s Executive Director, Mr. Treichel served as the Regional Director of the then-Region I in Albany, New York. As Regional Director, he was responsible for the oversight of the chartering program for federal credit unions and the examination and supervision programs for all federally insured credit unions in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
