John McKechnie, Partner, Total Spectrum

Join us when John McKechnie addresses critical topics such as response tactics for the current RBC comment period, when and how we might work with the banking industry, where bankers are opposing us, and what it all means to our future.

John McKechnie’s career in the credit union industry began in 1987, as the Director of Political Action with CUNA and culminated as the chief federal lobbyist for CUNA. In 2006, Mr. McKechnie became a Presidential appointee to NCUA as Director of Public and Congressional Affairs.

Early in his career, McKechnie served as a congressional aide to Stan Parris (R-VA), and as press secretary or organizational director for a number of gubernatorial and legislative campaigns throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
