2015: A New Year, A New Congress: Who Will Speak for Credit Unions?

Ryan Donovan, CUNA

Join us when Ryan Donovan, CUNA's Chief Advocacy Officer, discusses CUNA’s lobbying efforts and what he thinks we can expect from not only newly elected members, but also from the new balance of Congress, especially in light of the Senate flip. Mr. Donovan will address the current public policy issues affecting credit unions and why it is more important now than ever for credit union executives, volunteers and members to be actively involved in advocacy efforts aimed at removing the barriers that keep credit unions from fully serving their members.

Afternoon Session 4:30 – 5:30 PM

The Branch of the Future

Despite the exponential increase in electronic access, branches haven't gone away, and in fact, the topic of branch design may be hotter than ever. Join us when our panel of branch professionals addresses issues of functionality, member expectations, design as it aligns with staff performance, barriers to the redesign process and more.Even if a branch redesign isn't yet on your radar, this session promises to prepare attendees for the conversation when the time comes.

Our panel includes Peggy Tucker, Senior VP of Member Relations and Branch Operations at SECU; Alan Davis, Associate Principal at Baskervil; Tim Fikse, Branch Solution Specialist at NCR Corporation; and Mark Fletcher, Principal of Fletcher Consulting.
