NCUA Update

The Honorable Debbie Matz
Chairman, NCUA

Debbie Matz served as an NCUA Board member from January 2002 to October 2005, and is the first NCUA Board member to return for a second term. She was nominated for her first term by President George W. Bush. Ms. Matz was nominated by President Barack Obana to serve as the eighth board chair of NCUA and was confirmed by the U.S. Senate and sworn into office in August 2009.



Annual Meeting and Election

Please attend MACUMA’s Annual meeting on December 8 and vote to elect four candidates to serve on the 2015 Board of Directors. One representative from each Member credit union is eligible to vote. A quorum is required for the election to occur.

In accordance with MACUMA Bylaws, the Nominating Committee is pleased to announce nominations for the 2015 Board of Directors. Each of the following has expressed the desire to serve the MACUMA membership for a term of 3 years:

The fourth nominee, Karen Rosales, President and CEO of Arlington Community FCU, was appointed during 2014 upon the retirement of Director Brenda Turner and has agreed to serve for the one year remaining in the term of former Director Turner.
